The Rotary Club of Bloxwich Phoenix

This race, in Austin, USA, was the first in the USA for some time, and at a new purpose built track.

Having taken pole in qualifying, Vettel took the lead from the first corner and for much of the race looked to have the victory in hand, but Hamilton had managed to regain second and apply some pressure which eventually paid off allowing the retiring McLaren driver to take a victory in his penultimate grand prix for the team.

With Alonso finishing third, the title will be decided at the final race next week.

Our two leaders are still neck and neck, and a late surge by Boy Racer puts a third team in with an outside chance.
