Christmas Events

Well, it won’t be long to Christmas, and we’re pleased to be able to share dates for our visits in 2017:

  • Saturday 2nd December: 5:00pm
Our first route will be around Blakenall. We’ve moved to a Saturday to cover this route, allowing us more time, which should mean there’s time to see you all without having to rush! For route details see here; if you’d like a letter delivered on this route, please fill in the request form here.
  • Friday 8th December: 6:10pm ** NEW **
We’ve added a second ‘grotto’ visit to our calendar. Santa’s grotto will visit Park Street, Stamping Way and Parker Street.
For route details see here; if you’d like to collect a letter when you visit us please fill in the request form here.
  • Saturday 9th December: 4:30pm
Our second route is around Mossley. For route details see here; if you’d like a letter delivered on this route, please fill in the request form here.
  • Sunday 10th December: 5:30pm
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS VISIT WILL NO LONGER TAKE PLACE
Our Lower Farm route has unfortunately had to be cancelled – we are hoping to schedule an alternate visit on 19th or 20th December. For original route details see here.
  • Friday 15th December: 6:30pm
On fourth route will be around Dudley Fields. For route details see here; if you’d like a letter delivered on this route, please fill in the request form here.
  • Saturday 16th December: 4:00pm (until 8pm)
Our visit to Turnberry is to the One Man & His Dog car-park where Santa will be in his mobile grotto. If you’d like a letter prepared to collect on the night, please fill in the request form here.
  • Sunday 17th December: 4:30pm
For our final outing this year we’re visiting Beechdale, where we’re starting even earlier than last year to give us a little more time to see you all on this very popular route! For route details see here; if you’d like a letter delivered on this route, please fill in the request form here.

On each evening we will be aiming to finish by 8:45pm (excepting Turnberry, where we will be open until 8pm), and you can track Santa online here.

This year’s activities are possible in large parts to the generosity of the Blakenall New Horizons Community Enterprise (who have funded our sweets) and  the Midlands Co-operative (who have funded the postcards). A big thank you both organisations from us!
