This year we’re trialing a static grotto for our visit to Turnberry. In previous years whilst we know the street visits are popular, the route is long and quite a challenge for both our driver and collectors, and even then we only cover around 40-50% of the homes on the estate. We’re hoping that the static grotto will allow more people to visit Santa at their convenience. Children will be able to go into the mobile grotto and speak with Santa, and there will be sweets as usual. If the weather is particularly poor we may move inside the One Man & His Dog, who have kindly offered to host us should it be needed.
We will be open for visitors from 4pm, and will be there for around 4 hours, aiming to finish at 8pm. We very much look forward to meeting you if you’re able to visit us, and we hope you will still enjoy Santa’s visit.
If you’d like to request a letter from Santa for collection when you visit, please fill in the request form here.
For details of other nights, please see here.
This year’s activities are possible in large parts to the generosity of the Blakenall New Horizons Community Enterprise (who have funded our sweets) and the Midlands Co-operative (who have funded the postcards). A big thank you both organisations from us!
